I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend the highly anticipated “International MSME Day” program organized by FaMe TN at Chennai Trade Centre. It was an event filled with inspiration, knowledge, and remarkable networking opportunities. I am excited to share my reflections on this enriching experience and the valuable insights gained throughout the program.

Special Addresses that Resonated: Thiru T.M.Anbarasan, Minister of Rural Industries, including cottage industries, small Industries, and Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, and Thiru Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Minister of School Education, delivered impactful addresses that shed light on the initiatives undertaken to foster the growth of entrepreneurship in Tamil Nadu. Their perspectives on empowering MSMEs were truly enlightening and provided a fresh outlook on the entrepreneurial landscape.
Empowering Entrepreneurs: During the program, the Chief Minister inaugurated various schemes aimed at nurturing and empowering entrepreneurial activities across Tamil Nadu. These initiatives are poised to create a favorable ecosystem that supports the development and success of MSMEs. It was truly encouraging to witness the government’s commitment to fostering an environment conducive to entrepreneurship.
Inspiring Individuals and Meaningful Connections: One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity to connect with exceptional individuals who are shaping the entrepreneurial landscape in Tamil Nadu. I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with Thiru Sivarajah Ramanathan, CEO of Startup TN, whose dedication to the growth of startups left me truly inspired. Recognizing the potential for collaboration, I extended an invitation for him to visit AMET Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Incubation [AMET CEII].
Celebrating Success and Future Collaborations: During the program, I had the privilege of congratulating Mr. Sundaram R, Founder and Managing Director of Aerospace Engineers Private Limited, for receiving the prestigious Best Enterprise Award from the Chief Minister. His remarkable achievements serve as a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit thriving in Tamil Nadu.
Additionally, engaging conversations with Team Vaayusastra and its founder, Mr. Jagadeesh, opened up exciting avenues for future collaborations. Their vision and dedication to innovation align perfectly with the goals of AMET Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Incubation. I also had the pleasure of meeting Team MynaMagic and its Co-Founder, Mr. Amin Sulaiman, and exploring potential collaborations in the drone industry.
